# How to Share Your FlightSide Result with Your Travel Companions

Send your flight to whoever you're traveling with, so they see the same result you do.

## Open the boarding pass {#boarding-pass}

Press Share on the recommendation card and your flight opens as a boarding pass: the route, departure, flight time, your preference and all four numbers on one card. It's the nicest way to look at the whole flight at once.

The pass has its own Copy and Share buttons, and both send the short text summary below, not the pass itself. Share hands that text to your device, which offers the apps you normally send things with, such as Messages, Signal or WhatsApp. It works on phones, in Safari on a Mac, and in Chrome or Edge on Windows. Where a browser can't share, the Share button simply isn't there, so press Copy and paste it wherever you like.

## Copy the summary {#copy}

Copy is on the recommendation card too, if you want the summary without opening the pass. Every Copy and Share button puts the same few lines on your clipboard:

The summary follows your *Prefer sun* setting, so if you switched to the sunny side, it says so.

## Send the link {#link}

If you just want to send the flight, copy the link from your browser's address bar. Every result has its own unique URL, and whoever opens it sees the same route, date, departure time and flight time. You can bookmark it, too, to come back to the flight later.

> **What the link carries**
>
> The whole flight is written into the link itself, so nothing is stored on our side and the link says nothing about you. *Prefer sun* and the Delay slider aren't part of it: whoever opens the link sees the shade pick with no delay. If you've changed either, send the copied summary instead.
